Resin Forge Sends C&D To Dakka

$

0

So the latest in the case of the alleged deception has been somewhat hysterically clarified by Dakka Dakka getting a Cease and Desist letter from a German firm.

What is amazing is that the C&D actually MAKES the case the Admin was making that Daniel Mandelbaum was using aliases!  The C&D is ridiculous on many levels, but the main Dakka forum admin decided to take the whole thread down.  The initial post which started it all can be read on my previous post, which will not be taken down.

From the Dakka Thread posted by Yakface, the main Dakka admin:

Roughly a week ago a thread was started on Dakka claiming that the owner of the company Resin Forge was none other that Daniel Mandelbaum.

A couple of days ago, I received a Cease & Desist letter sent on behalf of Resin Forge and the owners of the company listed in the letter: Mr. Daniel Mandelbaum, Mr. Jason Martin & Mrs. Kim Hernandez, essentially asking me to stop defaming their clients (which would be both Resin Forge and its owners), claiming that this defamation has led to improper personal information being shared as well as alleged threats of bodily harm up to and including death.

If you'd like to read the contents of the letter yourself, I have included a copy of its text at the end of this post in spoiler tags.

To be perfectly clear, none of the posts in this previous thread were made by me, nor were they representative of my personal views as the owner and administrator of this website. I personally have no firsthand experience dealing with Resin Forge or its owners by their given names in any capacity.

While I do not acknowledge that the existence of this previous thread on Dakka constitutes me defaming Resin Forge or its owners, I do believe that the contents of this Cease & Desist letter acknowledging that Daniel Mandelbaum is indeed the owner of Resin Forge essentially makes that previous thread redundant and therefore I have no issues complying with the request to remove that information (and as such the previous thread has since been removed).

Naturally anyone interested in Mr. Mandelbaum and any of his alleged aliases (such as Matthew Bonder, RedStarOne, Lord.Serpius, Kellz1234, Susan Beasley) or his alleged involvement with a number of now defunct sites/businesses while using those aliases (such as Conversion Corner, Miniature Wargame Conversions, Three Stage Studios, Lord.Serpius ebay account, Great.Hobby.Bits ebay account, Double.Your.Bits ebay account) should feel free to do their own research and come to their own conclusions.

While this thread will be left open for replies, it is very important to remember that no posts defaming, threatening or harassing Resin Forge or its owners will be allowed. Anyone breaking this rule will have their post edited or deleted and their account may be subject to further disciplinary action. Please remain classy!

Here is the C&D letter text contents for those interested in reading it:

Eldar Release Notes and Ordering Live!

$

From Reddit:
(why the hell people use Reddit when there are such great forums like BoLS and Dakka, is beyond me).

I work at a hobby shop and yesterday I was submitting my Games Workshop order. To my surprise my GW rep asked me if I wanted one of the collectors edition codex's ( he knows i'm a huge Eldar fan). I submitted my order for the entire new line of Eldar mini's. Some notable orders were a Wraithguard box set, a new Eldar Avatar box, Jetbikes 3 pack, and the new flier. He couldn't give me names but I can confirm that on May 24th the pre-order for Eldar will be released and they will be released the first week of June.

From BoLS:

The Eldar super-big type model (think Dread Knight or Riptide)
Stats for the Eldar "Knight" main gun:
"Pulsar Lance"Primary fire mode:
36" S:8 AP2 Heavy 2, Lance

Overcharge mode (weapon may not fire next turn)
48" S:10 AP1 Heavy 1, Blast, Lance

Then we have some pure speculation by TastyTaste at Blood of Kittens, but worth a mention.
  • Universal Fleet including the Avatar. The Wraith stuff though won't have fleet.
  • Old independent character special rules moved to Warlord Traits
  • Jet Bikes moved back to Fast Attack (IC to unlock to troops)
  • Eldar Psychic Powers nerfed: some powers disappearing, random table, focus on witchfire
  • Warlocks can only use Eldar specific psychic powers
  • Runes of Warding Nerfed: No longer board wide
  • Farseer 2 wounds
  • Eldrad Mastery Level 4, Staff of Ulthamar similar to Ahirman staff
  • Almost all Phoenix Lords lose Eternal Warrior have cost reductions
  • Exarch's must be included in all Aspects units. (Sergeant Character)
  • Don't expect many changes with the Aspect warriors just cleaning up old rules and such
  • Dark Reapers, Swooping Hawks, and Banshees see the biggest cost drops and anti-flyer additions
  • Guardians 7 points a piece
  • Vehicles will have either no cost reduction of very minor reduction (5pts) with Vypers benefiting the most
  • Vehicles come stock with shuriken cannons vehicle savings come with cheaper weapon upgrades and wargear
  • Eldar Flyers first to get Vector Dancer (minus Forge World of course)
  • Don't be surprised to see Giant Wraithlord with T8 and Will not Die
The Eldar codex in essences won't reinvent the wheel this is update to bring them in line with 6th edition units costs and such and with Phil Kelly supposedly once again at the helm expect the changes to be more like Chaos Space Marine codex and less like the Chaos Daemons codex.

Don't expect to see any new Aspect molds with maybe Swooping Hawks getting an update.

There you go.  The Eldar are coming.  Hide the women and children...

Spikey Bits Sale!

$

0

I hate to be a shill for a retailer, but Rob Baer at Spikey Bits is a buddy and I have a lot of respect for the business he has built not once, but twice!  Now you can cash in on a great sale.

Rob basically started the whole bits business with Battlewagon bits, sold it to the War Store and then started his own game store after working for Neal for a few years.  Now with GW shutting down bits sellers (total bullshit GW move) Rob is getting rid of all the bits they have accumulated!

From Rob:

The BITS Fat Sack is Back! For Limited Time Only
That's right, the Fat Sack 'O Bits is back again, but time it's faster, stronger and cheaper!

Once again we ran out after just one day of sales this week, and caught some flack for raising the price, (to keep up with demand) so we had to go back to the drawing board

We spent the last few days planning out how to make these things better for everyone, and keep up with demand for this amazing limited time product without raising prices.

Introducing the "new and improved" SUPER FAT SACK o' BITSbut it's only available for a VERY limited time.

Checkout our new showcase video that goes over a few of the changes to the new sacks to help us keep up with everyone's demand.

We really appreciate the amazing response from everyone so far to the Fat Sacks!

We worked super hard putting these NEW bags together, and many Bothans died to produce a bits bag this powerful (packaged in a convenient resealable sack form).

You may remember our old fat sacks we used to sell back when times were merrier, and bits flowed seemingly without end (right).

Well now the darkness has come, and soon there will be no bits anywhere.  Sure some people will try to get away with continuing to sell bits, but they are only fooling themselves. The resolve behind this directive of no breaking down product is pretty strong, and I suspect we have only scratched the surface of this malcontent.

I feel like for now, the only real way to keep the bits flowing may just be from these super bags stuffed with bountiful bits.

These new SUPER FAT SACKS are a personal hand selected mix of bits, drawn from the collection of every last bit in our warehouse to give you the best possible random mix of bits (in a timely and efficient manner) we could ever hope to stuff into one gargantuan mylar bag.

But wait, it doesn't stop there.  I have even raided my personal collection of bits, which was whittled away in my dark closet of power hidden from the world- less they devour it with their mind numbing awesomeness.

Once again some of the best bits quite possibly ever made will now be available to the public anew. Most of these bits were plucked at the peak of bits perfection over many years at Battlewagon Bits and accumulated throughout twenty plus years of modeling projects, these bits are a very extension of myself and my company.

This is all I have left to offer a bits hungry public, and I pray it is enough.

They have been mixed to ensure (mostly) a great batch of kick ass bits in each bag. Included are bits from Orks to Guard to Marinez with everything in between- even some Fantasy treats.

These bags are 100% random mix of bits, taken from the remaining stock of our extensive bits inventory

Each bag is different, and it would be very hard to find anything like it on the market today.

Each sack is a 5x8 inch 4mil plastic bag filled with bits sifted and sorted from the Spikey Bits Wall of Bits, and my own personal closet of power (just don't tell the Bits Cat I took them).

Need another reason to pick up one of these amazing deals?  TAKE $5 OFF each additional SUPER FAT SACK you buy this first week that they are on sale!

We had to raise the price of these because the first batch we had sold out in only one day!!!!  Now the price is back to normal and we changed the format of the bags slightly... Hopefully we'll be able to keep up with the demand this time a little better.

Don't wait these bags are Limited Edition- because when the bits are gone that's it, forever.

Get one now, while supplies last!

SUPER FAT SACK o' BITS.

So there you go!  Go buy your bits while you can!  GW is cracking down!

Grey Knights Get Digital Codex

The Grey Knights get a digital army book this month as Codex: Grey Knights is now available for iPad on pre-order.

From Games Workshop:

The iPad edition of Codex: Grey Knights features all the same great content as the paper version, but with loads of extra-special features. The miniature's gallery includes 360º images of many of the models, allowing you to get a good look at them from all angles. The army list, summary pages, bestiary and miniature's gallery are all linked by handy shortcut keys too, so you can glide effortlessly between sections to find the information you're after. A quick tap of the screen, for example, can take you from the army list entry to the bestiary entry or the unit's stat-line in the summary. It's a useful feature of the iPad edition, especially when you're in the middle of a battle.

Having an iPad is becoming a welcome luxury these days.  Especially with a HUGE rulebook and hardcover codexes.

Eldar Rumors To Date

$

This is a summary of all Eldar rumors to date, with the sources they were from.

Via Darnok 11-5-2012:

the translation of the next eldar codex has started (or so it seems)...

All plastic minis stay the same for the moment including jetbikes
Wraithguards will be plastic with a HtH option (swords)
A new Farseer model (finecast iirc)
a character for Dire Avengers, a new entry "something-seer"

That's all I got for the moment!
Interesting. No new jetbikes might seem like a blow, but it means that eldar could potentially get a full complement of new plastic kits after Wraithguard. Have a hard time believing we won't see plastic jetbikes soon though, perhaps before the codex release?

via Faeit 3-2-2013

- Autarchs take Paths. These represent completed paths they have walked and are tied to the various aspects. By taking a path you make the respective aspect warrior a troop choice (the exception are reapers who just become scoring)

- Overall point cost reduction (guardians see it the most, aspect warriors see it the least, but are instead a fair margin better with only a minor cost decrease for two of the schools).

- new special rule that influence how howling banshees interact in combat. It's current iteration really makes them feel like glass cannons that are amazing at what they're designed to do.

-Seer councils have brotherhood of psykers (the farseers still cast their own abilities in addition, but two farseers together cast more than 2 farseers separately)

- in general, aspect warriors are hyper focused and hyper successful if used properly
- No new aspect
- 2 new flyers
- lots of units get access to skyfire
- new tank (on falcon chasis)
- Avatar is buffed a lot
- Two new special characters
- exarchs are all really good in duels in different ways
- farseers are still awesome psykers
- warlocks improve deny the witch.
- falcon/wave serpent point reduction
- way to make some of the craftworld specific lists
- additional rules for allying with dark eldar
- expanded fluff on the war in heaven
via BoLS 3-7-2013
-New Eldar "large tank" is being worked on (not the same as the new falcon variant)
-Guardian/Storm Guardian combo plastic box
-Guardian jetbikes/Shining Spear combo box
via 75Hastings69 3-24-2013
-Eldar, new flier, characters and a new uber wraith guard thingy.
-Updated jetbikes and/or plastic Wraithguard
-New huge wraith guard construct type thing (similar to Tau Riptide) IIRC it has two builds (shooty & cc)
-Actual Wraithguard have some kind of CC build option.
~Editor's note: multiple sources report a LARGE new model range (larger than normal) for the Eldar codex.

via Faeit 4-18-2013

Path system has been revamped. Autarchs take paths that are now fixed in point cost (before they became more expensive the more you took) but do not make their aspect troops.

Instead it allows corresponding aspects to be taken as compulsory troops.

Ergo, the Path of the Striking Scorpions would allow you to take up to two striking scorpions as troops.

If you also took the path of Swooping Hawks you could take up to two Swooping Hawks as troops or one and one.

Guardians are a lot cheaper and have more options for special weapons.

New transport for dire avengers / weapon platform (with no transport capacity).

And lots of new goodies.

If tau are the long range shooting army, eldar are a mix with potential units in short, mid and long range

Long range comes almost exclusively from heavy support, however so you need to create a mix it seems.

Aspects are still hyper focused and saw a very small decrease in points except fire dragons.

via Stickmonkey 4-21-2013

Eldar were supposedly getting the following:

New tank chassis, 2 builds, between falcon and cobra in size, one build had transport capacity and some type of melta or flame based weapon (fusion cannon iirc) the other build was essentially a flakk cannon, but not the same as the fw firestorm, bigger tl guns.

There was a new avatar sculpt but im pretty sure that ended up being a designer test seen at GD

Wraithguard get a plastic box with new weapon variants. Lots of rumors of dial build, but nothing i've heard enough of to know what's true.

Heavy rumors of new jetbikes, building guardian and shining spears.

However, it seems to be a trend not to release too many rehash boxes. If we got wraithguard, jetbikes, and an avatar all in this release, well Ill be broke and need new shorts.

Rumors have pointed to a new farseer model, and thats all but confirmed by your recent post.

The bomber and fighter do not share a box from everything I've heard. The fighter is "very" similar to the nightwing, except for the wing shape. One of the two is rumored to use some form of distortion weapon, be it bomb or missiles i dont know.

Rumors of a new aspect exist, the word i've heard is this has something to do with wraith constructs, but really even that is too vague.

I know others have said there is a large wraith construct, but none of my sources are backing this now, fwiw.

For the release there are two new aspect exarch or p lord (not sure which) sculpts in finecast, and one named hq, these are all new scuplts, but could be old characters.

Ive been told guardians are getting a new box to make them and storm guardians. Again, i cant believe wed get so many redone plastics. But it makes sense on its own.

So to boil it down, from the new new dept could be 2 flyers, a dual build tank, a new large walker/mc, a few blisters, and a new aspect.

Then on top of that old models getting plastics.

Its just way too much for a release, so what will stick and what wont?

via BoLS 5-5-2013

The Dark Reaper Exarch regains a classic weapon option from the days of yore. HINT, HINT - it involves skulls and chain.

Aspect Warriors are moving to plastic using the "combo-unit" dual-build format GW has moved to of late. We'll leave it up to you to guess which aspects could be paired off into combo-kit boxes with differing heads/weapon options.

The new Eldar flyer is quite curved in nature, with sweeping lines all about. A real head turner.

The new Eldar "big kit" is a wraith construct that shares numerous design cues with the current War Walker - but much larger. A virtual beast...

Eldar keep thier distance from Tau from an overall design theme. They will be the masters of maneuver and outright speed. Look for multiple options and units types for jetbikes including up-armored and even faster versions. Jetbikes as a family may well become the staple hallmark of the army. They will come in multiple flavors with both anti-personnel and anti-armor types.

FOC wise, look for a whole lot of jumping about of units between the HEAVY SUPPORT, FAST ATTACK, and ELITES slots. There will be difficult player decisions to be made in there.

via BoLS 5-8-2013

Stats for the Eldar "Knight" main gun:

"Pulsar Lance"
Primary fire mode:
36" S:8 AP2 Heavy 2, Lance

Overcharge mode (weapon may not fire next turn)
48" S:10 AP1 Heavy 1, Blast, Lance

Interesting. For those that remember, that statline has quite a lot of familiarity with the overall design of the EPIC Phantom titan's pulsar main weapon. Almost an homage in scaled down 40K scale...

Via Blood of Kittens 5-8-2013: (SPECULATION not rumors)

-Universal Fleet including the Avatar. The Wraith stuff though won't have fleet.

Common Eldar fighter/bomber features:
- Downward angling of the primary wings (about 30º I'd estimate)
- Canards are very slightly angled down, but near horizontal
- Engines are mounted in pods in the wings
- One weapon mounted centreline under the hull, and one in a pod in each wing

Hemlock:
- Has a single vertical stabiliser mounted on the centreline of the aircraft

Nightshade:
- Twin "vertical" stabilisers (they're actually about 30º from horizontal), one mounted on each engine pod.

Regarding the "big walker"
it's officially Wraithknight

...the flyers and wraithknight are the new shiny things, so they're going to be what grab the most attention.
You are getting new wraithguard - it's a double pack that also do a close combat version. Both types will also have weapon options.

That is your Eldar Rumor Roundup  from the beginning.  All the rumors that we have seen to date.  As GW is taking orders now, expect a flood of photos and info the next few weeks.

The Golden Ticket - The Horus Heresy Weekender

I feel like either Charlie from Willie Wonka, or Steve Martin in The Jerk - "The phonebook is here!  The phone book is here!".

The Horus Heresy Weekender has sold out!  But I got my lucky ticket.  My Horus Heresy Weekender ticket arrived and I couldn't be more fired up.  Wednesday I leave for London and a train ride to Nottingham for this amazing new event.  Yes, a long trip from Los Angeles.  And I am sure I will be jet lagged.  But I have some Ambien to make me sleep and a pile of reading to do on the plane.  Sadly, I am flying coach to London for the first time in years....ugh!  I just couldn't work the miles out for that all-important First Class upgrade!

Now, I am a total Horus Heresy junkie.   I have read every novel (the first four and "A Thousand Sons" twice), and am collecting the hard cover collectors editions as I collect books.  I am building a Raven Guard Legion (well, what's left of it) for my main Heresy army, and I plan to be at the Horus Heresy Gaming weekend in August.

Yes, I am a 30K geek.  And proud of it.

And I will be blogging from the UK every day with news and info from the event. Here is what is going on:

Now the question is, who among the readers is going to be there next weekend to share a pint at Bugman's with me?

Newest Eldar Rumor - Weapons

$

The latest Eldar rumor centers around the Shuriken weaponry.

From BoLS:

Word has reached us of two divergent schools of though for the latest codex shuriken family, and the jury is still out on which one was ultimately selected. Both are highly divergent from the short-ranged 12" S:4 AP:5 Assault 2 weapon we have now (oh those poor, poor Guardians). Here we go folks:

OPTION A: The Bane of Flesh

Shuriken Pistol 12" S:4 AP5 Pistol, Fleshbane
Shuriken Catapult 18" S:4 AP5 Assault 2, Fleshbane
Dire Avenger Shuriken Catapult 24" S:4 AP:5 Assault 2, Fleshbane
Shuriken Cannon 24" S:6 AP:5 Assault 3, Fleshbane
Shuriken Shreiker Cannon 24" S:6 AP:5 Assault 3, Fleshbane, Poison(4+), Pinning

OPTION B: The Rain of Shuriken

Shuriken Pistol 12" S:4 AP5 Pistol
Shuriken Catapult 18" S:4 AP5 Salvo2/4
Dire Avenger Shuriken Catapult 24" S:4 AP:5 Salvo 2/4
Shuriken Cannon 24" S:6 AP:5 Salvo 3/6
Shuriken Shreiker Cannon 24" S:6 AP:5 Salvo 3/6, Poison(4+), Pinning

So no definite news, and not even one rumor, but TWO.  What will be the end result?  Consensus is growing that The Bane of Flesh is just too heinous.  We shall have to wait and see!

Dice of War Prepares to Launch!

$

In two and a half weeks, SoCal's newest game store launches!

Dice of War is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, about 45 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.  DoW will carry all the usual suspects in miniature, tabletop and card games.

Myself (Alec Peters) and two former GW store managers (as well as the former owner of a great game store that is no longer around) are putting together what we hope will be the best game store in the area.  One we would want to make our home base.  But at the same time, one that is run like a business and not a club house.

Please go like the Dice of War Facebook Page and like it!

What is Different?

Well, there are 2 games stores 15 minutes West of Dice of War and two more 15 minutes east.  There is also Pegasus Hobbies, the biggest Hobby shop in SoCal, which sells, but does not support, games.  DoW is dead center in a great area.  What almost none of the stores around have, is a lot of table space.  Of the two that do, one store has nothing but Magic tables.  Another, has tables, but their gaming area isn't ideal (and a bit sloppy).  And so by supporting the game, and having a nice, clean place people can come and play, we hope to attract a big audience.

Already one of these stores scheduled a big event on our opening day.  They are giving out a 25% discount (which they have never done) and free food.  But they have almost no miniatures stock, and are mostly a Magic store.  I was actually going to go meet with the owner and see if we could work together.  Now, well I guess as Bugs Bunny would say "You realize of course, this means war!".  :-)

Of course we know the vast majority of our business will be from:

But we also will carry RPG's Tabletop games, and the like.  X-Wing, Heroclix and other popular games.   The two big things we are focused on for our launch are a great events schedule for each month, and Game Champions, who will each help run and promote events.

EVENTS

Weekly - Tournaments/events for each major game system.

Monthly - One major event for each game system

Ongoing -Campaigns including a Horus Heresy escalation league and a Badab War campaign for 40K and a Warmachine campaign.

GAME CHAMPIONS

Game Champions help promote a particular game, run tournaments and events and demo the game in store.  We had our first meeting last Thursday and had 12 Champions show up, enough to cover every major game system.

That's it for now  Expect photos shortly and a full run down of how things are going.  And if you are in the area, please stop by June 1st for our grand opening celebration!

Please go like the Dice of War Facebook Page and like it!

Dreamforge Producing New Leviathan Mortis

If you know anything about Dreamforge and Mark Mondragon, the owner, you know it is all about passion and making great models.  Mark made the now legendary resin Leviathan that GW shut down before production.

 The legendary Leviathan Mortis

Now Mark is making injection molded Leviathans and he is coming out with his second one, named after his previous resin one.

From Mark at Dreamforge:

The Leviathan Mortis is now production ready! This was actually the first of the new generation of Leviathan I designed back in 2002... I still have a soft spot for the Mortis.  Unlike the old resin kits the fingers and scythe will remain completely poseable. Just like the Crusader, the Mortis is highly dynamic, arms move, legs move, waist moves.... great fun and ready for some smack down.

When will this hit retail? About 3-4 months, we hope... We will not make this available until all the Kickstarter backers have been shipped and are well on their way. Stay tuned for updates!

I have not yet gotten a Leviathan, but will be doing so shortly.  They are perfect for Knight Titans.

Courtesy of 4chan's /tg/ board, comes Landmark Creations' Slash Gordon.  At over 25', this inflattable Space Marine knock-off is meant to help sell mobile homes!

Photos of this big guy cropped up the other night, and it's a wonder GW hasn't made a move yet. Check out this series of photos and tell me whether this looks like a huge lawsuit in the making.

We march for good deals!

Slash got back.

Horus Heresy: Betrayal FAQ

The first Horus Heresy book "Betrayal" has gotten an FAQ and you can find it here.

If you are building a Horus Heresy Legion, time to download this FAQ.  Most items are fine tuning, and there are even some great designer notes.

However, I wish they had done a better job with proof reading before they published this.   Couldn't they bring in an entirely new team to proof read the work, play test a little and make the book close to perfect before they printed the $ 100 book?

Still love the work and the commitment of the Forge World team.  Just some constructive criticism.

All Quiet on the Rumor Front - London Landing

As I was flying all day yesterday, it was nice to know that there were no new rumors to report, as I was in the air without wi-fi (International flights do not yet have wi-fi, whereas domestic flights all do on Delta).

The trip over to London went very well.  My strategically placed box of See's chocolates, combined with a sweet note about how much I loved Delta Airlines (I really think they are the best domestic airline and fly nothing else) earned me a First Class upgrade.  And First Class is the way to go when you are flying across the ocean.  Better food, fully recline-able seats that turn into a lie-flat bed, electrical outlets.  Yep, you fly like a king (or Bill Gates).

When I got to London I met my friend Giles Aston, who is well known look-alike for Patrick Stewart.  I met Giles at the 2006 Christie's Auction House Star Trek Prop Auction, and he and I have been friends since.  He of course took me for the above photographed Fish & Chips and a pint.

My friend Giles really does look like Sir Patrick!

Me standing in front of Sean Connery's old apartment from before his Bond days.

Sir Connery in his youth!

Then off on the train to Nottingham, which I slept on the whole way.  That damn jet-lag.  I got to the Belfry Nottingham Hotel and found that they had no US Power conversion adaptors!  UGH.  So off to the local shopping conglomerate to secure one.  Thank god for Boots!  That store (Former employer of the recently departed GW CEO Mark Wells) is like any US drug store that has everything.

Then back to the hotel and worked on the computer till 12:30.  The trick to overcoming jet-lag when flying to Europe is to stay up all day when you arrive and then take some sleep meds!  I woke up at 9am and feel great.

So it is off to Warhammer World!  The Horus Heresy Weekender starts tomorrow, but I will be hanging around Warhammer World all day.  If you see a bloke in a white long sleeve sweater and jeans, come say hi.  We can go to Bugman's and grab a pint.

Otherwise, 9:00 at the bar in the Belfry for all you HH Weekender guests!

Forge World has just released a photo of its new Praetor Model that will be released at the Horus Heresy Weekender.
This is a beautiful piece, showing a Space Marine Legion Praetor in Artificer Armour.  And it is one of two models in the set for sale.   The detailing is amazing and the armour simply rocks.  This set will premier here at the Horus Heresy Weekender and presumably go on sale to the general public in the near future.

Also for sale this weekend:

Fulgrim - £55

Event Only Lodge Priest - £12

Legion Praetor Set - £30

Legion Glaive Super-heavy tank - £155

Loyalist and Traitor posters - £25

4 different t-shirts - £20

Individual Legion 2m x 80cm prints - £75

200cm x 80cm prints have been exclusively produced for the Weekender.  All eighteen Legions are represented (some more than once) and each is available to buy (stand not included).

More to come!

Horus Heresy Exclusive Posters Revealed!

Two Horus Heresy Weekender Exclusives are being sold at the event this weekend.  One is a set of two posters, sold individually for 25£ (about $38).

Now they are on nice paper, but still, this is a lot of money for paper prints that are not signed and numbered. I would rather see these numbered in a limited edition at least.

Then we have 20 different Space Marine Legion posters.  (There are two posters for the Word Bearers - pre & post Heresy, and one for the Luna Wolves and one for the Sons of Horus.  These are 2M tall (about 6 1/2 ft) and 80cm wide (about 32").  They are printed on a thing vinyl and cost 75£ each, or about $ 114.  Again, pretty steep, but sure to be a big seller.  Here are all 20 posters!

Stay tuned for more Horus Heresy Weekender updates and join the brand new Horus Heresy Forum.

The event program is beautiful!

Oh and I found out at 12:00 last night that those event only posters of each Legion were ONE OF A KIND.  I got my hands on my two favorite Legions, the Raven Guard and the Thousand Sons, as I was the first one there this AM.

More coming...
